Harry Potter Wizards Unite - All August Event Dates and Details (2020)

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite players have a ton of events to enjoy during August 2020 including some exciting flash backs to the first years.

Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is kicking off another month of busy events. The game may not have a festivity as big as GO Fest 2020 this summer, but Witches and Wizards are still staying plenty busy in the warm months. Many parts of the world have removed lockdown orders and are just recommending safe social distancing at this point, but the mobile AR going is remaining play-at-home friendly for the time being, which means many event bonuses are active longer than usual and there are some other convenient features, as well.

The mobile AR game has had a very busy summer so far, but things aren't slowing down just yet. All of Niantic's games seem to be pushing non-stop events throughout the summer, so players are either adjusting to the new norm or perhaps starting to get exhausted from racing from one event to the next. Either way, each week of August should have something for Wizards Unite players to look forward to as the usual lineup of events once again rotate through Harry Potter: Wizards Unite with some new bonuses and Foundables for players to enjoy.

As expected, this month's Brilliant Event is broken into two parts like usual and there will be a Wizarding Weekend and a Community Day, as well. It should be a busy, but typical month for Wizards Unite players. Once again, there will be lots of opportunities for players to put their SOS training to good practice.

August Overview

For some mysterious reason the Calamity is surfacing memories of Diagon Alley and new students at Hogwarts, but this must surely be more than a stroll down memory lane. This month, think back to your Standard Book of Spells, Grade 1 and help uncover the significance of these First Year flashbacks.

First Year At Hogwarts Brilliant Event Part 1

Tuesday, August 11 at 11 a.m. PT–Tuesday, August 18 at 11 a.m. PT Help return Brilliant Foundables from Diagon Alley including Goblins and the Monster Book of Monsters.

All day Saturday, August 8 from 12:01 a.m.–11:59 p.m. local time Ready your wand to take on increasingly difficult Wizarding Challenges to earn useful rewards!

Tuesday, August 25 at 11 a.m. PT–Tuesday, September 1 at 11 a.m. PT Continue to help return adorable Brilliant baby magical beasts including Baby Unicorns and Baby Hippogriffs.

August Wizarding Weekend

Friday, August 21 at 11 a.m. PT–Monday, August 24 at 11 a.m. PT Help return Brilliant Foundables from Hogwarts including Professor Sprout and Professor Flitwick.
