The next Fortnite panel will discuss a critical political issue

Fortnite uses its platform and hosts a celebrity figure to discuss important political issues related to the Party Royale Mode on July 28th.

Fortnite is one of the top successful royale fighting genres and has helped a lot in spreading the sport. Despite the saturated battle royale market, Fortnite managed to offer crossover events and updates that retained most of its player base. It seems that Epic Games also uses the platform to talk to people and inform them about political issues that will affect them. For the second time this month, Fortnite is partnering with We The People.

We humans fight against voter repression by discussing the tactics used and sharing the thoughts and opinions of famous entertainers. The United States has a bleak history of repression of voters against blacks, and these debates will address the problems that people still face today when trying to assert their democratic rights. The organization will be hosted at Fortnite's Party Royale.

Fortnite and that we humans continue their original speech that began on Independence Day and on July 28 is love that it will continue. The event will be hosted by Cari Champion and may include celebrities such as rapper and activist Bun B, athlete and host Jalen Rose, athlete Hason Heywood, and comedian and actor Yvonne Orji also as rapper Russ. Many will be curious about what these celebrities have to say and players have to join the sport at 7pm. EDT to watch the conversation live. Fortnite also provides an extra incentive for players to have a conversation.

Fortnite has many items to unlock and there is also a free emote that accompanies this event. Players will receive a free Verve emote to attend the event and while this may entice some players the conversation alone is vital. In recent months, video game publishers have become increasingly political, either trying to alleviate the coronavirus pandemic or supporting the Black Lives movement. It now appears that Fortnite is steadfast in this trend and is trying to spread awareness about issues that will affect the upcoming elections.

The previous event was repeated one day after the initial discussion and while it has not yet been confirmed, this probably applies to this second event. It seems that Fortnite is leveraging Party Royale to host important discussions and it will be interesting to see how the sport continues to strive to do so in the future.
