PUBG Sanhok loot trucks and loot will be reordered soon

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is set to get another massive map overhaul in Season 8, with Sanhok in its sights this time. The jungle map has been rebuilt from scratch, according to PUBG Corp, with the goal of making it even more covered and dangerous.

The developer boasts almost every building, tree, and rock, with changes to both the art and design of map locations, such as Boot Camp, Ruins, and Quarry. There are general changes to balance, performance, and visual fidelity, but also a host of granular changes that should make visiting your favorite locations quite a different experience. Expect new ways to get closer to these areas, changes in terrain and structures that will affect line of sight, and more verticality in some of the cities on the map.

There are also some new locations, while others have been removed or reworked to such an extent that they are barely recognizable. The old docks, for example, have been replaced by The Getaway, a tourist trap that features poolside bars, a boardwalk, a nightclub, and plenty of neon lights.

Sanhok's changes also extend to new features like ankle boots. These AI vehicles are full of cargo that players might be interested in stealing. You will have to attack them if you want the equipment they carry, as they drop the loot when they are attacked. You can even destroy them, earning bigger rewards, including full custom weapons, as long as someone doesn't take you out when you're distracted.

The jerrycans are also making a comeback, so you can start setting fire to people by throwing cans at them or pouring gasoline on the ground to create an unpleasant surprise for anyone walking by.

Season 8 marks the beginning of a new ranked season, which changes the way scores are calculated and now takes into account the team's location. Qualified players will also be able to meet at Vikendi.

PUBG Season 8 will be available on the PC test server on July 15 and will launch successfully on July 22, along with a new survivor pass.
